Pop'n vs. the competition

Madly Pop'n Popcorn and
a low-carb diet
We are asked all the time about how to include popcorn in a low-carb diet. Here's what the Atkins people told us about popcorn: Popcorn, although low in calories, is high in carbohydrates and has a high glycemic index, meaning it will raise blood glucose levels at a rapid rate. It should be avoided during Induction. However, it may be introduced in the later phases of the Atkins program - in controlled portions...Air-popped popcorn is the best alternative as it is free of trans fats. Feel free to add your own melted butter. In case you didn't already know, all Madly Pop'n popcorn is air-popped, but we also carry an even healthier alternative -- Au Natural Popcorn! Straight from our air-popper, Au Natural has no butter and no salt. Give it a try! For you number-counters, here's the nutritional low-down on our top sellers.
